For the last few weeks months, there have been numerous pundits and bloggers coming out in defence of Manchester United holding man Michael Carrick. Everyone talks about where United would be without Robin van Persie’s goals, perhaps because it’s more measurable (not that I think they’re meaningful stats anyway). What about where we’d be sitting without Michael Carrick?
Nani, Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, hell even Kagawa can be thrown into the mix. At one stage it sounded like the pick of the litter for wingers in the English Premier League. We have defensive issues, there was outcry that SAF should’ve signed a strong central midfielder, but at least our wide men were sorted.

Had a bit of a break with the flurry of matches over the holiday period, but TSK’s Premier League team of the week is back in action now! Pretty mixed bag of results for what was a crucial week for many teams. For now the table still remains as Titus (relevant pun, you’ll see) ever as we delve into the second half of the season.
