3-1 seems to be the popular score line for Round 17 of not just the Premier League but a few matches around Europe as well, and in a round filled with quite a few goals, the Team of the Week was highly contested. Due to Chelsea and Southampton being postponed because of the FIFA Club World Cup, obviously none of them made it in here, taking away a few names from the selection pool but not making it terribly easier to choose. Lloris: EPL’s Best New Signing
As an Arsenal fan, it’s hard for me to compliment anything Tottenham do, but the signing of Hugo Lloris from Lyon may be one of the master strokes of the transfer season.
Cazorla and Hazard have both impressed for Arsenal and Chelsea respectively and van Per$ie and Kagawa have wasted no time in scoring for the Red Devils of Manchester, but here are some quick thoughts on why Lloris could blow them all out the water in terms of overall impact.
