In this week’s show, Jonno and Julien (still over in Florida) get into all the Premier League action as well as bits and pieces from the big leagues around Europe. We touch on QPR’s long awaited first win for the season, the popular 3-1 scoreline, as well as a few other issues that popped up on the weekend.
3-1 seems to be the popular score line for Round 17 of not just the Premier League but a few matches around Europe as well, and in a round filled with quite a few goals, the Team of the Week was highly contested. Due to Chelsea and Southampton being postponed because of the FIFA Club World Cup, obviously none of them made it in here, taking away a few names from the selection pool but not making it terribly easier to choose. Let’s get going shall we?
This week, Jonno and Julien lay off the puns and go for normally-worded summaries of their footballing highlights. Then they go on to do the weekly roundup of results and have an in-depth discussion over the future of Mark Hughes and just what may be wrong at Queens Park Rangers.
